  1. Introduction

Welcome to the club, from Calgary Alberta. I'm sure you're going to love it! I have the 2024 XLT 4k Tow package and couldn't be happier.
  2. Old Truck New Truck: 2004 vs. 2024

I had a 2003 Explorer Sport trac that was amazing - I loved that truck, but sold it about 8 years ago. I always hoped Ford would bring it back so I could buy a new one! Bought the 2024 Maverick XLT Ecoboost with 4K Tow Pkg, and so far it's been great!

  4. First trip towing our 14ft Travel Trailer

Hi Hi Barb, I’m sorry about your husband. I listed the trailer at 2500, but it’s actually only 2253, and that’s dry weight with nothing loaded. The tongue weight is 215 pounds. We had about 100 pounds of gear in the truck box, and maybe 400 pounds in the trailer. We didn’t fill fresh water...
  5. First trip towing our 14ft Travel Trailer

That’s great! A lot less wind resistance with a tent trailer.
  6. First trip towing our 14ft Travel Trailer

Thanks for the suggestion! I have now edited it.
  7. First trip towing our 14ft Travel Trailer

Made an 800 km (500 Miles) trip towing our 2500lb Travel Trailer with our 2024 Maverick XLT with 4K Tow Pkg. Really happy with handling and taking on a few good inclines. Averaged 17L/100km (14mpg), which I feel is decent through the foothills of Alberta, Canada.
  8. A little add on to the truck: Mavericktruckclub Sticker

How do I get an MTC window decal?
  9. New here from Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Hi everyone! I've had my 2024 Maverick XLT for two months now, and I love it! Still getting used to the dial shifter, but I'm only at 1500 kms (less than 1000 miles), so it will feel natural soon. Have the 4K Tow Pkg, so will be pulling our 2000 lb travel trailer in a couple of weeks. Any tips?
