Me too, but I miss the F150 holes allowing a clamp to go under the tailgate. This somewhat awkwardly gets around that.

With the ladder in the position I have it, you can get a variety of clamp around an item and hold it steady against the ladder.

Not the same as the F150 I had, but the little Maverick can provide tailgate workbench solutions. With the handy step ladder in place and two good clamps, you can hold a pretty big board in place. Love my Maverick. It's not a little car, it's a real truck - just little.
