Here it is from the other side! I don’t usually open the awning on the cab side but instead use the “curtains” function. I could open it if the rack was higher for sure.

It might - my mpg has been 50-51 driving around with it (dashboard calculations, which I find are 4-6 mpg higher than manual calculations). Previously I was getting around 48 mpg. I don’t drive past 65 mph on the highway, fwiw.
It’s actually not as bad as I’d thought it would be - there’s a good few inches of clear space under the tent that you can see through. I did rely more on my side mirrors but its definitely doable like this. I don’t plan to take off the camper, so this was pretty important for me. Of course you...
