I bought a 2024 poverty version. Does everything I want it to. The only thing I would have added is power control of the side mirrors. That should be automatic....
I know nothing about mechanics, but I enjoyed this video. I bought the XL model. I find it comfortable. I'm not much of a car guy, so I don't stress over interior finishes. I'm comfortable with all the hard plastic. Since when does hard plastic deteriorate?
Based on advice here, I bought the Motorla dongle, which gets me access to Google maps on the Maverick screen. But I haven't been able to get other apps on my android phone to show up. Tips, please! Thanks to the great and helpful audience here.
Technical ignoramus here. I gather it is possible to have a wireless connection from android phone to screen. (I know it works using a cord to the USB.) Does a wireless connection require a dongle (whatever that is)? Recommendations? Thanks in advance.
I'm nearing the end of my first tank of gas. With the needle showing tank at 1/4, the "miles left" says 150. How accurate is that reading...or how accurate is the needle?

Thank you! I got it back down. It appeared that one of the seatbelt receptacles was tangled in a way that was holding it in the upright position. Thanks again for your help. Occasionally the internet leads to something useful!
I raised the rear seat to get into the storage area. Now the seat will not return to the seated position. Is there a latch or something holding it in the upward position? I'm not finding one.
Upon closer inspection, I found two indentations where the screws presumably would go. Alas, they were not a perfect fit with my plate. Easy to drill the needed holes.
My 2024 XL has to drive a couple blocks before anything happens when I push the drive mode button. Is this normal? Can't it get a clue sooner? Ideally, I'd like to set the mode before I roll away from the curb.
I'm not much of a car guy. I was driving one day and saw a cute small truck with "Maverick" on the tailgate. Since my 1989 small Toyota truck was near the end of its life, I started looking up Mavericks. Liked what I saw. Bought one...
