I got a 2024 XLT CP360, Lux, and Azure Grey Metallic for the price of base XLT. I believe there was a Ford finger on the scale for a service recovery issue but I can’t prove it. Another dealer had really rubbed me the wrong way and I responded very negatively to Ford’s survey follow up.
But then what are the visor clips for?? We can only accumulate so many random bits of paper in our vehicles.
For the record, I run my finger across the slit and pretend my Mav is authenticating my fingerprint before powering up engines.
I wonder if we’ll start seeing more of these with multiple recalls and the used prices still sky high that Ford might recoup a lot off of this scheme (they call it the RAV program). If this buyback thing were a trend with similar history, I might be more confident. As it is, I am going to pass...
