I've become accustomed to expecting to have to hang up and call back or wait for a second call incoming. It happens every time. 1st call fails. I have not done the camera recall, so there may be a fix.
I also have the radio reboot at least once during a drive of an hour or more. Every time.
I didn't exceed 65 at any point, it was more like a 55mph average over 150 miles.
I use the Livernois to monitor the temps and the coolant never went above 198° and the transmission stayed under 205°.
Yep, that's about the limit for that trailer/weight class in PA before you're required to have trailer brakes.
The load cap of the trailer is like 2390 so it's perfect.
Silvers are coilovers. They are not adjustable on the fly per-se, I can add height to the rear spring with the collar setting. It's a temporary measure to accommodate for the load.
I have the 93 OCT HP tune only, and using the truck tow mode, it is just fine. I do have the 4k tow package, so I...
2160 pounds for the digger, ~200 for chains, binders, and extra bucket/attachments.
I am lowered on Silvers, but it didn't affect a thing as I set the rear height up a half inch beforehand.
PA law is 3001lbs or tandem axles for brakes. Load CAP on my trailer is 2990lbs, so no brake requirement.
I'm not claiming I shouldn't need trailer brakes, but I used what resources I had with no issues.
Sorry, there are threaded collars with the springs that allow for about 2 inches of adjustment. I was down in the back to almost 1/2 inch of space in the wheelwell prior to adding a few threads of height with the jitney loaded in the trailer
I was a bit on the fence about renting a full-size to tow my SxS 165 miles of twisties and highway, but I just let the XLT eat. I was averaging 19 mpg on the highway, but it dropped to about 16 on the back roads. Overall, I'm extremely happy doing truck stuff and still being able to modify it...
I can't get rid of a leak somewhere in one of the 3 slip joints. It's driving me mad.
I've used gasket maker, moved things, tuned clamps. I'm about to go have it welded.
I like the E30 tune, it definitely wakes the truck up! I did it all pretty much within a week.
I'm running the 93 tune now, because I travel a lot for work and E85 is tough to come by in some locations.
It drags. It rubs. It scrapes on the front splash guards. I live outside Pittsburgh so the roads aren't exactly conducive for this style of modification, but it's what I wanted, and I can always revert for free.
