Got my Maverick XLT hybrid in Hot Pepper Red one year ago today after a eight month wait. Pretty much did all the add ons that have been mentioned here. At a little less than 12,000 miles I have averaged 38.3 mpg during that time.
I've been very pleased with this vehicle and have no regrets...
One deer, $8,200 plus and 64 days later my Maverick is back home. Like the original purchase, parts are hard to come by and slow to be delivered. I'm just happy to be driving her again.
Oddly enough, I now have a whole front shudder system again. I had the recall work done on it before, but it...
That cussing you heard Thursday night was me from South Central Texas as a wayward deer got in front of my baby. Will get it looked at on Monday to see how much $. Update..It turns out the repairs will be $8,200. Both headlight units need replacement. $1,200 apiece. How is that possible?
My Waze app starts up every time my android phone connects to the head unit. Is there a setting that can prevent that? I don't need the map most of the time and it seems to suck down the phone battery pretty fast
Much to my surprise, the tracker showed my truck was at my dealer. A whole week early! I didn't believe it and went out to the closed dealership. Damn it was there. 2 days short of 8 months.
No sleeping tonight.
Got my build date last week for April 11. One day later it was moved to April 4. Even better. Today it was moved back to April 11.
As long as I have a chair when the music finally stops I'll be happy.
Maverick plant is not listed here.

there is no way to guess when your truck might get scheduled for production. To the untrained eye, it looks like Ford jumps all over the place when they pick an order to be schedule. If they went in a more linear direction, you could see all the June order completed followed by July and then to...
Are at least I thought so for a second. The email notification said from Ford Motor Company, titled "Your 2022 Ford Maverick Order". Surely, I surmised, a production date has been assigned.
Nope. It that same form letter everyone is getting telling us to sit back and wait. Damn, Ford, that was...
I was pretty much in love with the Maverick already, but these good reviews released today just confirm what I thought. I'm going to sit back now and outlast Ford until they finally build the XLT hybrid I ordered in late August. It won't see the light of day till next year, but I'm going to be...
After learning a lot, I didn't know before reading this forum, I have come to the forlorn conclusion I will not being seeing my truck anytime soon. Being late to the game, I only placed my order on 8/30. I'm guessing it will be at least five or six months from now before I can expect this truck...
