Does this stay cool in the summer? I live in Las Vegas NV and the reason I use console covers is so I don’t burn my arm.

I ordered mine mid-February 2024 and picked it up May 1, 2024. I found out after I ordered it my ankle was badly sprained, so I’ve only put about 750 miles on it since I’ve picked it up. I didn’t need the truck, I wanted it and kept my original vehicle so I was OK with waiting when I ordered it...

I have driven 3 different vehicles in the same day, same shoes, only have that problem with the Maverick. Don’t think it’s the shoes…

I’m 5’5”, but never had this problem before. I have driven my 2010 Ford Edge for 105,000, never had this problem. I will try the pedal covers another person suggested and hope they help.

I have seen others post about this issue and I have never had this problem with the 25+ vehicles I have owned. When driving my 2024 Lariat, my foot frequently slips off the gas pedal. If I move the seat closer to help with that, then I am too close to the brake pedal and end up braking oddly...
