It's not annoying in the least. It basically makes the truck go from dead quiet to just being able to hear the exhaust note. At highway speeds it is barely discernable from stock.
Ok, so I had one of those mufflers on the shelf and an open lift. Took about an hour to swap it over. Nice thing is it's a direct fit, so that's a plus. Still very quiet but it does have a nice growl off idle and under hard acceleration. Maybe a little smoother acceleration but no, oh my god...
Great looking truck. Owning a repair shop in Daytona Beach, I would never drive anything I own on the beach. Virtually impossible to get the salty sand out of everything. Interestingly, it kills more power window motors than anything else. The salt gets in the doors and rots out the window...

Recently installed the Livernois Motorsports Tune. There is no question that there is a nice increase in power. I used the 91/93 octane tune. Transmission performance is improved as well. Shift firmness and shift scheduling is better than stock. In my shop I tune dozens of cars a year...
Thought I would weigh in. First post but I get lots of great info here. Thanks for that. I own and run a conversion shop so lots of engine swaps, wiring, diag, etc. In my world a "bolt in" mod is take the old one out, bolt the new one in and go. These seats are NOT a bolt in mod. That being said...
