Good question. Yes- I connected it to the posts under the hood. Turned the key to start and experienced a brief flash of dash lights but no starting sounds. Removed the start pak shortly after.
That’s my thinking as well. The jumper pack (which I’ve used before on gas only cars) was fully charged. When I removed it, it was very warm indicating that in in fact, I’ve been drained.
Yesterday I awakened to a deep sleep alert. This after a 90 mile trip the previous afternoon. I was unable to start the vehicle and a voltage check revealed 7.2 volts. My jumper pak didn’t help so I called AAA and theirs got it started.

During my 10,000 vehicle service inspection I noticed the muffler has discoloring on the rear surface. Has anyone else noticed this?

RTFM 😊 the one in the picture is the point for underhood access. The terminals on the battery can alway be used as well but preset a risk of spark and explosion, albeit rare it does occur.
