  1. Awd working or not

Was about to say the same. In normal mode it’s 99% fwd, was going around the turn the other day on a wet day and started sliding a bit, don’t think the rear even kicked in. So not much confidence driving in the rain/ snow. played around with different modes today and sport mode looks like it...
  2. Shimmy/Vibration at Highway Speeds??

It could be just how the truck runs. Went on a 1000 mile road trip and seems like 80 is the max it can do comfortably. Anything above that and it starts feeling sketchy, slight steering wheel vibration and floor board vibration and doesn’t feel stable at all. Only 6800ish miles on it. Rides like...
  3. Truck has shipped, should I buy it? (Based on the enclosed math)

If the numbers end up same then sure. But since you just got the forester and trying to trade in right away you’ll probably lose 20% right there. So say it’s $5k neg equity after you just paid taxes title and registration, that would be $100 a month added to your Maverick payments. Then you have...
  4. Delayed collision alert?

So I know car play can be slow sometimes especially if it’s hot, but when driving on the highway today a big truck almost cut me off, so I pass it and all is clear, about a minute later I get a collision alert message. It wasn’t even hot outside for computer to overheat and late react. Now I’m...
  5. Spied: Maverick Refresh Lobo ST Street Truck Reveals New Vertical Grille Design & 13" Infotainment Screen

Could this be a lariat trim? Lane centering and radar cruise buttons, larger screen. And pretty cool addition of sport mode button on the steering wheel which is way more convenient than trying to push mode button 5 times to get to sport mode.
  6. Santa Cruz owner, looking over the fence

Agreed not everyone is the same or has the same needs, but yeah if my wife was buying my car I’d go for a lariat as well hahaha
  7. Santa Cruz owner, looking over the fence

May be didn’t want to spend $40k on a cheap truck. I can live without push button and lane keep for $10k less
  8. Santa Cruz owner, looking over the fence

I drove non turbo cruz before I gave it to my wife when my ecoboost showed up. Ride on the Maverick is a little more bumpy and I think because of skinnier, smaller tires it doesn’t track as well as Santa on highways. Ride and handling wise Santa is smoother. Just couldn’t stand lack of power, it...
