Nice. I grabbed a M40 from Wolfbox Ebay site but I'm not happy with the brightness of the rear-view. How are the more expensive models wrt: brightness? Sun glare is part of the problem but it just seems dim overall.
I had the "powertrain malfunction" but it was after carrying a load of (too heavy) wall block home. Wouldn't start in my driveway - with ~2k miles. I let it rest for 3h and it fixed itself. No issue since and I've got 5k on it now.
I went ahead with the taillight recall and so far, so...
I got a hard Gator bedcover from RealTruck via the contact I found on this very site.
I like that it folds up in 4 sections and props up against the window to get full access without having to take it off. Plus it has a low profile; there are many others that look stuck on (to me)...
My 2024 XLT hybrid has had no updates that I know of but had the Reduced power malfunction stop me from starting the truck in my driveway. 3hours later, started fine, drove to dealership, all good.
Maybe a new thread for hybrid 2024s to help track other occurrences would be good.

Only about 1,000 lbs and kept to 45mph with flashers on after my first sway warning.
I kinda think this is related but we'll see what the Official Diagnostic result is.
My 650 miles old 2024 Maverick XLT threw this code in my driveway. Wouldn't let me operate the vehicle. I had the Parking Brake on and it was confused and would not release. Tried removing key and restarting multiple times - same behavior. Took the wife's car (oh boy) and 3h later, it...
Ratings are done on a standard test so you can compare across vehicles. There's no reason to expect those test results to correlate to actual driving with hills, wind, extreme care on starts and regen braking usage. https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/fe_test_schedules.shtml
I've read that inflation with nitrogen reduces rolling resistance. Costco does nitro fills, but I have no comparison data. Less moisture absorption is a plus too.
