For quite some time now cars with combustion engines come with a larger battery, usually starting around 85 amp to my knowledge. It gets charged during the drive so when you're stationary, the engine turns off and the battery takes over the HVAC and other electrical systems.

When we pickup up the AWD truck from the dealer, this feature worked for the first two weeks. So far we've driven 5000km since mid January, and I can't safely say that it hasn't kicked in once during all of February. I went to the dealer and was told the battery only charges when the brake is...

I was standing outside close to the car yesterday and saw something from the corner of my eye dropping from the sky, which was followed by a loud CLANK. I turned to the car and saw rock bouncing off the hood.
