I have a 2023 Maverick XLT hybrid.
I've used it for hauling large cargo like a treadmill, equipment deliveries for work and furniture hauling. However, my favorite use is carrying gear, clothes etc on road trips
I live in Southern California, so it gets slightly warmer but summer is similar enough to the rest of the year. Still, I load up with some water in the back in case I need it. I also need to wear full length pants for work, so I keep shorts in the truck to change into at the end of each day.
Not terribly complex or difficult, but I added mudflaps, fender flares and a hard roll up tonneau cover on mine. I also made a bed divider from a broken Ikea bed. So really more of a bed bed divider
I'd love if they came with an in bed trunk, similar to the Honda Ridgeline. Even a smaller version would be useful for emergency kit and other rarely accessed items.
