Just to help any others who might be searching for the same, I failed to find it via countless searches, but finally I just happened to stumble upon it when I wasn't even looking: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/tonneaus-with-rack-rails.22138/post-419198

Yup that did the trick, no drilling, though it was very tight fit… every thread of the bolt caught on the edge of the slot, needed a little force, and I can see that the bolts are at a slight angle, hopefully those rubber washers are still able to seal.
This installation has been much more...
Dang... I don't really have the tools to do that and don't love the idea of having to modify the bracket, and @Realtruck says it's compatible.
Anybody else who has the Elevate + Bakflip MX4 (@SkeeterB & @icegradner ?) did you have any trouble getting the bolts to line up with the slots?
I'm...
Next challenge, the bolts of the bakflip mx4 cover don’t line up with the slots of the cover rails. It seems like the rails are slightly too close together so the bolts are hitting the outer edge of the slot… but I’m not really sure how to spread them apart as the clamps should be pulling the...
Thanks all, I ended up doing the same as @Hot Runr Guy , but I put them closer to the bulkhead so the taller clip is closest to the bulkhead, out of the way of the rail.
Those of you with Elevate Rack + BAKFlip MX4 - Which Clamps did you use?
The Elevate Rack System comes with clamps that are quite tall and offset, where one side seats higher than the other. @Realtruck has a nice installation video on Youtube for installing Elevate on a Maverick with a Tonneau...
There seem to be plenty of people here that find use for racks that are below the cab... I just figured it'd be useful for the adjustment range to be somewhere between "below the cab" and "above the cab".... not as much use in the adjustment range being "above the cab" and "WAYYYY above the cab".
I thought I saw a post on here about cutting down the height of the Elevate CS rack, to have more useful adjustment range for the Maverick, but my search skills are failing me... did somebody do this?
Carlinkit 5.0 I think is the fastest to kick in when starting the car if that matters to you. It also does GPs pass through to use your cars GPS if available for maps.
It seems that none are perfect, there are audio delays and hiccups and occasionally it doesn’t start up on its own, but I think...
Ah great point, I actually already have one of those... but I only used it as a bed extender in the past so I never even considered the vertical orientation!
@breal With that setup on the Maverick, I guess it's mainly the foam blocks and the rear crossbar that's supporting most of the weight of the canoe, does that sound about right? That's a simple solution, I like it. The Elevate should be fine on it's own for my kayaks, so i'd just need to add the...
Looking to haul a couple of 12’ kayaks today and a canoe in the future… do you have a setup that you consider ideal for such tasks?
I see a lot of love for the Elevate rack system… but on its own for our tiny truck beds aren’t the cross bars only a few feet apart? For a longer boat it seems...
Too risky in my opinion to provide this service without being a business owner with necessary insurance/etc in the litigious US… Small chance that such programming down the road is to blame for voiding a warranty/causing financial damages/etc.
ForScan makes it pretty easy, with a small amount...
@Fast Mavericks , I was under the impression that these were in-stock... but that fella has been waiting for over a month now... what's the scoop? What should those of us that have ordered these expect in terms of delivery timeframe?
Not sure what the standards are/what materials would be right/etc, but I wonder if any of these would work? https://www.ferrulesdirect.com/pages/search-results-page?q=pin%20terminals
Yeah, that price is madness for what appears to be a tiny length of wire and a crimped on piece of metal... wth Ford lol. I wonder if there is any way to source just the metal pin end piece instead of buying the full expensive "terminal" kit, it looks like it is just crimped on to wire? I guess...
