I don’t use the radio at all. Only CarPlay. I does seem to be forgetting the CarPlay settings tho. I set them, and set them again. I’ll check again tomorrow.
Last week my 2024 Lariat infotainment system started to demand that I accept the CarPlay conditions before CarPlay will start. So every time I start the truck I have to press three buttons on the display. WTF…
I’ve had the truck for 5 months now and this was unexpected. Any idea why this has...
On my 2024 Lariat Hybrid, the remote start via the fob will only work if the truck has been double locked with the fob. And with double lock you do get the beep.
The double lock is not required when using Ford Pass to remote start. That seems odd to me.
Opinions on the chirp seem very polar. But I’m not asking for opinions. I just want to know if it is possible to set some feature on the truck that will cause the truck to chirp when it is locked by touching the door handle. Maybe via the Ford IDS or other diagnostic tool. If anyone has some...
I put the window down and locked it. I put the fob 20 feet away and opened the door with the inside handle. No alarm.
(update) I put the fob about 60 feet away and the alarm worked when I opened the door.
From the side, by the door handle, you cannot see the lights flash to confirm that you did lock the doors. I have thought I locked the truck, but it was not locked. Having the horn beep confirms that the door is locked.
Also, this is A 2024 Lariat that has the Perimeter Alarm and the Securilock...
Does anyone know of a way to have the horn beep when the exterior door lock is touched to lock the truck. Like when you use the fob with double tap locking. And is the alarm set when locking with touch?
I did use a 1mm rubber seal around the plate and the sub had a 1mm rubber seal already attached, so maybe 1/16 In total. I can pull it out and try to double or triple up the seal height. I purchased it on Amazon and description said 1cm. Oh well.
How thick is that seal tape you used?
I built my adapter plate out of 3/4” plywood and could not get the Dayton sub to fit into the enclosure. It was just barely hitting on some of the internal protrusions and would not sit flush. I wound up getting a 3/4” spacer ring to fit it all together. It is super tight getting it installed...
