That is 100% my fear too, that someone else that is helping accidentally scratches the sides. I feel kind of silly that right now I keep thick yoga mats and foam in the bed for when I do haul stuff that may touch the sides. I know, I know...not practical at all on my part.
I absolutely like the look too, but when I do load stuff and use the bed I end up putting foam yoga pads around the inside of it and am super careful when I load and unload, I feel like I probably should do 1 or the other so I can just put stuff in and out without worrying about scratching...
I still have yet to put in either a drop in or get a spray on bedliner. I have been using the rubber bedliner mat that I bought when I got the truck in 2023. I have always in the past had drop-in liners (its what was with the vehicles I had bought, I never bought a new truck until the maverick)...
Congrats on the truck, definitely is in my opinion an awesome small truck. I enjoy reading through your comments as well as some of the others. As unpopular as this is going to be, I am on the other side of the coin in that I don't want to see them add more and more features to the vehicle...
I have only used premium in mine. Mine is a 23 hybrid. I know the argument that you are throwing money away using higher octane gas than what it says in the manual, however I have also been told that running premium gas does help with keeping the vehicle running better long-term. A mechanic...
I know a lot of people probably would consider doing both a waste of money, but I really like this idea. I feel like it is the best of both worlds. Thanks for the suggestion.
They have different packages and cost obviously goes up based on what you choose. I am scheduled to get the "complete" package at $385. after tax. That is the most expensive, I figured do that one the first year to ensure everything gets coated.
Phil,
Thanks for the reply, it definitely makes me feel better knowing that someone else has used the product and would recommend it. Thanks for all the detailed information.
Really......I didn't know that was possible to put a drop in over a spray in. Is your drop in the factory ford one and did you have to trim it at all to fit?
Wow, thanks for the reply notfast! So in your opinion after having the various liners over the years do you believe the rusting under the drop in really isn't as much of an issue as people make it out to be? I am located in Ohio where we do get our fair share of rain and snow. I do have a...
If price was the same would you still recommend rhino? Where i am the local Line-X dealer and the ziebart location that does Rhino are both priced at $575. The difference is that at that price point it is a standard line-X liner not their premium. Ziebart said they don't have different tiered...
From what I have found it is a clear waxy liquid that is applied. It was recommended to me by a co-worker who is super meticulous with his vehicles. He says it is what he uses and that his vehicles look great underneath. I don't want to use a ziebart tar/asphalt cut undercoating as I have heard...
I have always had drop in liners in my previous trucks and believe it or not I prefer how they are slick/slippery. I find loading stuff much easier. After doing a bit of research, it sounds like I risk rusting out my bed so I think I am going to get either a rhino or Line-X spray in bedliner. I...
