I took mine in early March for the recall. The dealer said the tank had a “Dimple” so they ordered a new tank and other necessary parts. They had my truck for about a week and half so not the quickest turnaround time but not too bad with the state of supply chains.

I’m going to use them to help keep stuff from bouncing around in the bed that isn’t big enough to strap down. I also put D-rings on the dividers to use bungee cords to hold stuff down.

Mine does the same thing and I’ve noticed that once the truck’s thermometer goes below 50 degrees it turns on, so that makes me think it’s programmed to do that. That’s obviously too warm to need them unless they’re just fogged up so I’m wondering if something’s up with my truck too.

I read some thread on here that said it was 54 1/4 inches which is what I cut it to and it works, but if I were cutting it again I’d leave it a tiny bit longer then maybe do a trim cut.

If I’m honest, I didn’t think about it. If want to sound like I knew what I was doing, I wanted them elevated to keep them out of any water that would be in the grooves if they weren’t draining for some reason. Lol
