22’ Ecoboost. Had a coolant smell in cab couple of months ago, checked and coolant was low (below minimum when stopped or running) so filled it up. Now two months later it’s below minimum line again and I can faintly smell it in the engine bay. Searched for an hour but can not find a leak or...
We got a bunch of snow last week and although I'd already given the new Firestone Destination AT2 235/70R17 tires some good snow testing this year I figured I'd give the Maverick the tough task of trying to escape my slick concrete driveway without shoveling it first :) It's escaped previously...
I was working on a different video the other day and looked up at my bed extender hanging in the garage and thought maybe I should do a video on it after 2 years of ownership,
I got new 235/70 tires and thought I could use my wife’s used 235/65 on my steelie as the spare to lessen the height difference if I got a flat and had to go a longer distance vs the “full size spare” (215/60=27”).
Been messing for over an hour and can not get it to fit but I swear other people...
My ford mats don’t have the hole in the passenger mat to connect them in so they don’t move around but it bothers me more because there’s a lump under it.
Do the weathertech mats have the hole for the peg to clip into?
They offer better coverage so excited to try them butdon’t want to run...
After many months of looking at and comparing cat back exhaust systems I finally pulled the trigger and added the Magnaflow to my 2022 FX4. I wanted the performance gains of a cat back but I didn't want the sound of the less restrictive exhaust to be annoying. Many people have posted their...
Got my first flat tire and my “full size spare” was a 215/60R17 and 27.2 inches compared to my stock 225/65 pirelli tires at 28.5.
I read through the manual and it seems like the full size spare isn’t a 50mph max tire it’s a 70mph max.
So my question - on a long road trip if you use the full...
Was checking my tires today and although early on I thought the tires were wearing quicker than expected it seems they're holding up ok after 35,000 miles / 18 months. I thought I might have to change them around 40,000 originally but I think based on current tread they probably will make it...
Hello, I finally got around to attempting this mod today (22 XLT FX4 4K) and I was able to add the modes successfully I believe (they now show up :) )
However one weird thing was when I got to the screen to enable / disable mine looked very different than all the other videos I had seen.
Sorry...
This one piece of trim pops up on the freeway. Weird thing is that it has a little nub piece but it doesn’t really do anything to hold it in place. Seems like a poorly engineered solution for trim to be held in place.
Dealer is working to resolve it.
I've had a rattle on my dash for the last couple of months but was just ignoring it for the most part but today it got a lot louder and I noticed that my speaker cover over my tweeter looks to be warped. The one on the other side also isn't flush but not as bad as the drivers side one.
Going to...
Alto Blue Maverick delivered January 22. Just hit 30,000 miles.
I've got numerous paint chips on my front fenders (none on the plastic bumper) and one on my fender behind my drivers side back door. Also one above the windshield. I also have a weird huge paint flake on the inside area that is...
Am I crazy? Looking for a taller tire but don’t want to sacrifice MPG with a wide one. I’m thinking of going tall and skinny like my old farm truck tires. Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT come in a 225/75/R17 size! 30.35 tall and 8.7 wide so 1.85 taller and 0.3 skinnier than the stock tire I have now...
I installed this and then removed it a week later before I took my truck into the dealer. Didn't get around to re-installing and decided to sell.
$125 obo + $25 shipping.
Basically almost new - you may just want to do some new hose clamps if you want.
They have Maxxis Razr AT-811 on sale right now 245/65R17 for $167.98 plus 5% off and another 8% off.
Total for four delivered is $642.93.
i won’t install them for 5 months (winter) but this is a great price. Just not sure about the seller.
Fairly simple install - only difficult part is removing the existing pcv connector on the intake and cutting the hose off the other one. I made a video showing the install.
I had created the other thread with all the videos posted but thought this compilation video might make it a little easier to compare the sounds of the different exhaust systems.
Headphones are suggested so you can hear the deeper tones!
Here is a YouTube short that is even more condensed of...
