I have also been hearing this, but not specifically during turns, and I have an EB. It does sound exactly like a rock hitting the windshield on the driver's side. I've been hoping it's just a piece of plastic in the dash flexing.

There's definitely gaps around the tailgate, but the entire inside was soaked after driving in the rain. I don't know if it's possible for water from the tailgate to spray all over the inside like that or if this means the sides and back are leaking, too. I think I know what grooves you are...

Mine was included from the factory and also is missing the snazzy logo. I commented about it and one of the guys at the dealer said he hasn't seen them with the logo on them for several months. Didn't get a discount. Also it leaks like a sieve all over.
