Thanks for the discussion. Yes the odometer does stay the same. What I am unsure of is if the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty is still in effect on the new engine. Also I have three pages of notes regarding the engine replacement and list of parts and courtesy check of other systems.
Our 2023 Maverick (included in the engine recall) and built in Mexico, threw a powertrain code on a major highway. We were lucky to find an exit on a restricted mountain highway. It would start tomove a few feet downhill but would not go uphill. Of course after it was towed to the dealer it...
I am experiencing 0.017% chance now...lost power on the highway and I have the coverage but dealer is trying to reproduce the code...its a bit frustrating...waiting on tests.
Tom good insights...this canoe needs support at about 58 inches from each pointed end according the manufacturer.. Lots of room remains in the truck bed but it would be constrained if a lot of suitcases were needed to be packed. Thanks for the info on the Toros I will check tightness. This...

This rig includes a car fire extinguisher since this is a 2023 recall vehicle. The rear support was made using a plan from online. Had the lumber on hand and the hardware cost $25. It is attached to a 2x8 that fits in the grooves of the bed cover sidewalls. The top rack is a TOROS Pro 4 rack...
Called my Ford Dealer in Southern California and for the first time they said that we may be able to call to make appointments in 2-3 weeks for the recall fix. I am not sure I believe this...he spent time trying to find this answer ...so not sure what to think about it.
Is there a method for calibrating the back up camera? Mine stays in the white/green until about 1 inch away from an object...its totally off and dangerous if you trust it.
I have a 2023 hybrid delivered from Mexico in December...it has been recalled. It has 8000 miles and I live 50 miles away from work and family and its all mountain roads! From the reading I have done the front end is really enclosed and can trap fluids and vapors...so I took off that lower...
