Or some local dealer thing?
Your dealer is perhaps unfamiliar with the drop-in bed liner. It has dimples/marks on the back of each panel for hole locations. PDF of instructions here, fyi: https://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/Catalog/accessory_files/2022_CMY_Maverick_Modular_Drop_In_Bedliner_Kit.pdf
FYI. The Ford drop in bedliner is the same for all Mavericks. The panels just need to be cut out for the cubbies. Easy to DYI, too.
If the dealer gets the "correct part" in, someone will still have to do some cutting. You could save yourself time by educating your dealer on this :). LOL.
Right-o, Johnkn. I assumed the OP ordered a hybrid, as stated. I could well be wrong on that.
I’m glad you got the Private Offer (as did I). It makes a 23 @ 22 MSRP a great deal … for all kinds of reasons.
I don’t think so. OP said he “ordered“ in January 2022. MY22 orders for hybrids closed in November 2021. OP could not have ordered a MY22, but rather preordered a MY23. There is no Private Offer in play here.

I had a great experience with Bozard Ford in St. Augustine, start to finish. Ford Motor Company taking this long to build it? Not so much.
At the dealer yesterday everything...
