Agreed! Much thicker than I thought it would be. All in all, I think the skid plate only adds about 5 minutes to the job. Wasn't bad at all.

I use Kirkland full synthetic also. Did my first oil change in my '23 XLT FX4 today.

Just had this exact issue with my '23 with 4,500 miles. Dealer troubleshot and then ordered new driver's switch panel, which came the next day. All covered under warranty, but still annoying. Only issue I've had so far. Thankfully we had a couple of dry days.
