    Then the Maverick's FM radio just stinks? There is a noticeable difference in sound quality between FM and any music from my phone. In my 22 Sienna with JBL, the FM radio reception sounds on par with my phone and at times better than Siriusxm. I'm not going to spend $1k on a radio head unit...

    Not to hijack the thread, but have you noticed that sound played from a phone is much clearer than FM radio? Is there a way to upgrade antenna or is the FM chip in the stereo incapable of picking up HD OTA radio?

    You would think so, right? Definitely not using this dealership anymore. Luckily there was no rain, and I had access to a relative's car.

    Of course my dealer took half a day to look at the truck, "couldn't get the window up", and it takes 3 days for the part to arrive. JT2, what did you attach the positive and negative wires to? Did you just bypass the switch or hook it up to the battery? I'm not really loving the syranwrapped...
