What I was told from ford, Ford doesn't own the dealerships. Dealer buys from ford then they can do what they want with vechiles. Rebates etc. Come threw ford up to dealership to handle paperwork. Only one rebate per deal.

I've own two, 22 and 24 with fx4 and tow. I installed a pedal commander in mine. Bought it from dealer and it's plug and play with a app. Put it in sport mode the truck flies!! I run city and it's alot of fun to drive. Takes lag out of the pedal the manufacturer has programmed in.

My 22 was a problem child. Swapped it out for 24. No issues yet. Covid vechiles. Had poor quality control on suppiers. 24 are being checked alot more before they leave the manufacturer. 0 defect policy went into effect. I got my money back on the 22.

Scotty does have a point about if the aftermarket part does fail it could cause a problem with your vechile. So I say if your buying aftermarket parts do your homework. I figure if the dealer selling them how bad can they be ??

I bought one of the last ford ones available, installed on my 22 year half ago. Traded in my 22 for 24. I made sure I took it off my 22. Made engine look alot better, but it made the motor alot quieter inside the cabin area. It's a great add on feature 👍
