    Maybe not the perfect spot for this but I have this rack and plan to toss a very large roof top tent and some gear on it. This same load was on my jeep gladiator prior.     Highway driving 65+ it looks likes its coming out to about 30 mpg. I don't think thats too bad. If I really focus on driving efficiently it seems like I can keep it at around 33 mpg. Not bad as far as I am concerned. Slower speeds seem to be about the same when I am around town.

    We have large portions of the summer off so we tend to road trip for about a month or so each year. Beyond that we tend to get away form a weekend every month or so. Dont feel the weight nearly as much as I thought I would on the back. MPG only dipped about 5 or so during highway use.

    First post here. Just made the switch from my gladiator that was lifted, RTT, 35s, etc. We used to do a ton of offroading out west and have a Wrangler as well. Made the decision to get something that can hold the tent and get some good range for our average trips compared to the gladiator that...
