I feel the same way. I am already looking for another vehicle. I didn't want to, but I just can't trust that this will not happen again. Very disappointing.

I did drive it after this happened. Very heavy steering. It still towed just fine. It's at the dealers now - yikes

Well I just had the same thing happen on my 22 hybrid. Gentle left turn into an on ramp. Death wobble started. I pulled off immediately and it straightened out. However I now have the service steering message. Can I still drive it? Got a grandsons birthday to get to.

It would also require disconnecting any supplemental braking system in use I think. Obviously, after running the engine, reconnecting that system.

Yes, flat tow mode. My bad. That is what I thought I would need to do. Take it out of flat tow mode, start ICE, put it back in flat tow, reset RVi3 brake. Thank you

Very handy when you leave your key and phone in the vehicle when helping your daughter move (and your spare key is in another city)! Add long as you have set it up! Of course then you download the app to your daughter's phone, log in and unlock. Then you set up there keypad!

I removed the steering column cowl (see the video in this thread) and the knee airbag. It's held on by for 10mm bolts. I didn't disconnect the wiring, just set it aside. That gave me some more room but it is still tight in there. Those purple and white wires are so thin. I could not get enough...

Has anyone seen anything to indicate that any of the Maverick competitors can be towed 4 down behind a motorhome? The Maverick Hybrid can be towed that way.

For those who asked in a power socket to plug in your towed vehicle aux brake, did you connect to the +ve and -ve posts of the battery (under the back seat)? Would it be better to connect to +ve of battery and the -ve to a ground? Thanks.
