The ones I ordered from Amazon latched on without any modification, the bent one worked perfectly. All I needed to do was lightly Dremel the home for the can lock to fit.
Thanks! I had seen that as well, but had a friend who had an extinguisher burst inside his car in the Vegas heat, it took him a while to clean it all out.
Well the car is parked on the street often, and had a couple neighbors have their cars ransacked lately. Probably not ideal, but rather it be locked and fumble with the key instead of needing it and it not being there.
So I usually have a fire extinguisher in one, and some ratchet straps in the other (installed one on the passenger side). Got the set from Amazon, only needed to lightly Dremel the home for it to fit. Easy process, I think it's been posted before, but just thought I'd share.
Do you know if there's a way to disable the seatbelt menu and chimes, but leave the dash light to work for all seats? I made a modification, but it only works for the driver seat. I'd like it to show if a passenger doesn't have their belt on.
I was driving, and all of a sudden it said there was an issue with the front camera, and the whole dash turned off along with the touchscreen. I did read a post here about removing fuse 22, that made no difference. The truck still turns on, but the screen and dash doesn't turn on. I'll be taking...
Hey everyone, trying to install Ford's perimeter plus on my economist, but I can't for the life of me disconnect the OBD2 connection, I already took out both bolts that were holding it in place, and tried pulling on the plastic connection while I press the tab, but it just doesn't give. Any tips...
