Man, I just did one last night with them for my '16 Ford Fusion and they offered me $9800. KBB offered me $10,800 through a local dealer. Gonna check there first
Mine was RU2G for Chapman Philly. That ramp code was for New Castle, Delaware. Though, the last update I had through CSX was it was in Walbridge, Ohio 5 days ago.
That's the aim. Though, Carvana only offered me $9800. KBB had an offer $10,800. May have to look into that with my local dealer. Best offer I've gotten so far. Private sell is a hassle and a half
I actually got a phone call from Chapman saying my truck is in! Likely picking it up this weekend!
I'm in a similar boat with my car. Trade in is like $9-$10k, closer to $9k. Trying to sell private, but, now I have 2 days before going to Philly. Seeing if I can hail mary a private sale in 2...
Sounds like it is. I'm trying to balance the disappointment with reality.
Kind of confused why my truck is seemingly stuck in Walbridge, OH since I thought the major hub of trains was in Indiana.
I was figuring they had to be on the same train, just made sense. I hate to agree, but, man that's so annoying. All this worrying about my car is killing me. I'd rather just rip this off like a bandaid and start the next journey.
I've been told by others on this forum that if it goes to Chapman (at least, Chapman in Philly where mine is going) that the the truck is unloaded at a yard in Delaware and then goes by truck from there.
Any idea where yours is at currently? I called again today and mine is still in Walbridge...
Hopefully it's not the case. But, it is what it is. I called CSX and mine got into Walbridge, OH last night. Slowly getting there. My new estimated according to Ford Tracker is 7/17-7/30 as well.
Such an extremely weird time. I think I am going to try to sell privately, if possible. Greater potential gain, albeit with a little more headache.
I'm already getting like $8500 offers for trade when a month ago it was around $12k.....
Also, nothing from Ford. I'm starting to think that my...
I appreciate the info! I seriously thought something was amiss with their info, though, it made me even more curious that Chapman showed me the exact same information. That's what really got me.
Again, I appreciate the info!
Besides some cosmetic BS with my '16 Ford Fusion, I haven't had any issues and I'm at 86K right now.
Ed is sending over a request for an extended warranty to financing for me. I asked if they would match Flood or Granger. He told me no, too much under cost and I asked if they could do...
Guess I'll just wait for my car to be worth 2 pennies and a piece of string then, yikes.
Sorry you had to wait so long! I'm not trying to sound entitled or anything
