Yep, you're correct re: the covers on Amazon! I had posted about one that I tried but it was a no-go. I even went to the dollar store today to find some sticky felt as a temp fix but no dice! Perhaps Walmart will have something I can DIY in the meantime. I'd make my own covers out of silicone...
Here are some accessories I'd love to see, all made out of silicone (or some other soft material). I looked but can't find anything anywhere!:
- covers for the seat belt buckles
- cover for the plastic door sills
- an insert for the storage under the backseat that covers all of the plastic...
Oh, I didn't even check the rear ones! But I rarely have passengers in the back, so I was more so focused on the front, haha.
Yeah for the front buckles I had to really give the covers a stretch and then they looked goofy because the buckle's plastic is such a thick shape. The other thing I was...
I was looking for some seat belt buckle covers since I heard the plastic panel can get mucked up pretty quick.
These silicone ones on Amazon were 10 bucks so I figured I'd test them out.
They'd be perfect if they fit, but alas they do not!
Posting so you save yourself some time :)
"AOZBZ Car...
Yep, I did have a canceled VIN! @fordvideoguy any insight on this? Lol, I promise this is my last question *laughs and cries*. Thank you!
I have my preapproval from my CU as well, but I know when I ask them to check Smart Vincent there will probably be some sort of unexpected issue... that's...
Thank you @fordvideoguy ! I'm not why Ford as well as some people on Reddit are telling me the opposite, but I'm coming to peace that it's not going to happen.
Do you happen to know the rates of last year when the new '23 orders were put in?
Ah another October club member lol. Dang, really? That's awesome! If they give you original pricing, would you mind sending me a copy (with of course personal info blacked out) so I can show it to my dealer? Yes, I'm grasping at straws lol.
Thank you <3 I'm so sorry to hear about your mom as well. Sending some good energy your way, friend.
Preapproval with the CU is ready to go!
I've heard if the original rates are not honored through the dealer, that we're at least eligible for the rates at the time our '23 orders were submitted...
Oh trust me, I know!
I have my CU preapproval ready to go. The dealership is working with Ford to get my Certificate Number because no one can find it (I thought this was shady, but I called Ford to confirm and also had them submit my info). I'm ready to go.
Financing through my CU and it's ready to go. Shame about the rate protection... I'm not sure why when I called Ford they told me the dealership has the power to honor it.
Car quotes are ready to go.
The dealership is currently working on the Private Offer. I called Customer Service and they...
Great to know, thank you! I just told a family member this information and they said "they won't let you leave without a tag though"... did they just give you a temp tag? Sorry, I'm sure this is a silly question.
I had initially reached out to Apopka but at the time they couldn't answer questions I had about the Mav and wanted a deposit, so I decided to go with Kissimmee.
Btw I was just doing some research and saw that you had made a post about a video LMA did. It was something along the lines of those...
Yep, definitely the best choices re: CU and selling my old car. Congrats to your son!
Shame there's no finance lock for the long wait... it's not our fault but 'tis what 'tis!
My incentive wasn't there... they're apparently contacting Ford "but it'll take a couple of days".
Ugh, yikes. Yep, I do think they're definitely "exercising their ability" as you kindly put it lol. Granted they are estimates... I was scared to give them my SS# and wanted to talk to my credit union first.
Yep, I did a lottt of research on Ford dealerships when I built my Mav and this was one...
Agh, so I really am getting penalized... I thought the forum posts were for '23s (on Reddit) but my brain is not working at normal capacity after my mom's passing so I admit I could be mistaken.
Ah, good to know about the upfront vs checks. That discount would indeed put me in the ballpark, I'm...
Thank you, I very much appreciate that. It's just been one thing after another.
Yep, I have my CU as a backup! Definitely going to pass on an extended warranty as well.
How did you go about doing the title/tags transfer on your own?
I agree, the paperwork is high! I questioned it and they...
