The bag is riveted to the upper housing. It is past the engine air filter. That is why it concerns me so much.
I think I will wait till the warranty expires. Then I will buy a new upper air filter housing and replace mine. I have not found a part number, but for 2020 Escape hybrid it is NZ6Z9G784A, LX6Z9G784A.
