    Didn’t realize you had to seat the nut so I kept hitting it with the impact. It went from lose to tight a few times. if I can’t move the lower bracket, is it safe to assume I have the lower but seated correctly ?

    So if my bracket doesn’t move when I try to pull it, is it safe to assume that but is seated correctly in the tailgate ? I didn’t do any kind of pulling towards me when installing, so I didn’t even think of getting it seated.

  11. New to trucks. What’s the best way to lock and secure a Yeti cooler for a 12 hour road trip?

    Stuck between just getting a tonneau cover and securing it with rope and stuff. I was thinking of locking it to one of the further up tie downs and then using something kind of rope or cord to actually secure it to the two tie downs closest to the cab. any input here? I’ve always had sports...

    I ordered some touch up. For now, I just threw some clear on it until the touch up comes next week.

    Living in the Midwest, I assume rust is pretty prevalent. Do I need to cover this? Is the tailgate steel or aluminum ?
