I stored mine for almost 4 months in a rather cold garage. Just disconnected the 12v and put a battery tender on it. Did nothing else for the high voltage battery. After 4 months no problems to report. Reconnected 12v battery and everything was fine, even the radio station presets.

What did you use to secure the cutoff to your tailgate? I really want to make sure I protect it as well.

I'm planning on ordering one, assuming it's fine. Pretty basic rubber mat. But I'd appreciate hearing anyone's opinions as well.

Where did you buy it from? I don't see it on Amazon. Can you close the tailgate without releasing the end of the tonneau? My old three fold Ford one wouldn't and that can be a pain.

So I have been reading all about my new Maverick, with particular interest to the battery systems. And I get how the 12v battery can be quite small as it's passed off the starter power function to the high voltage traction battery. Makes good sense. So I am hoping someone has some advice here...
