  1. Catch Can Installed!

@Desert Trek Hi OP, I am planning to install the same can but I am bit confused. The Mishimoto catch can has a "in" side and "out" side, can you help me understand which side is connected to which? Thanks! See my illustration below. Or it should be the other way around with the arrows and in/out?

  3. Radiator Shutter Part Back Order [LX6Z8472E]

Update again, body shop got the parts, but it is because the dealership placed a "emergency order" for it (which no one told me about) few weeks ago. Ford repair specialist did call me and gave me such information (helpful).
  4. Radiator Shutter Part Back Order [LX6Z8472E]

Update: I chatted with Ford customer service this afternoon, ending up with a case number and "a repair specialist will contact me". Later I received an email from the body shop claiming they will get the part this Wednesday. Maybe Ford did something here? Anyway I will update once I confirm...
  5. Radiator Shutter Part Back Order [LX6Z8472E]

Thanks, I can try this route.
  6. Radiator Shutter Part Back Order [LX6Z8472E]

I did, they are saying something like the engine may seize, check engine lights may be on, and some other stuff. At my level I found it hard to convince the shop w/o some written evidence.
  7. Radiator Shutter Part Back Order [LX6Z8472E]

Maybe if Ford can give me a letter saying it is safe to drive w/o this part installed, then I can get my truck back.
  8. Radiator Shutter Part Back Order [LX6Z8472E]

I mean I was able to drive it around no problem after the hit, but once it is in the body shop, they cannot release it to me w/o finishing all the repairs, for liability reasons.
  9. Radiator Shutter Part Back Order [LX6Z8472E]

@Ford Motor Company, do you have any helpful comments?
  10. Radiator Shutter Part Back Order [LX6Z8472E]

Hi all, My Maverick hit (was hit by) a deer last December and has been in the body shop since. Apparently they have been waiting for a "LX6Z8472E" part that is currently on back order. Every time I tried to ask a dealership about the ETA, it gets further delayed, latest news is end of this...

  13. TruXedo Elevate Rack System + works with inside Tonneau Cover

Correct, mine was mostly below the cab. I was also having trouble finding something that can be adjusted from BELOW to SLIGHTLY ABOVE the cab. A 10" to 20" adjustable would be really nice.
  14. TruXedo Elevate Rack System + works with inside Tonneau Cover

Check my post here for Elevate Rail + Cheap / Lower Rack https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/mid-profile-rack-with-elevate-ts-rail-with-truxedo-hard-roll-up-bed-cover.6121/
  15. Installed Medium Profile cross bars with Ford Accessories hard rollup

OP, does your roll-up rolls freely at the towers? I had to modify the base plate of my towers to get full clearance at the 2nd tower. Maybe it is because I am using a different cover.
  16. Worst Ford dealer ever. Screwed over by Frankfort Ford in Frankfort KY!

Personally, I think you might still be able to get it at the price you ordered (if the finance guy is the only one asking for the mark-up). I would suggest ask them to hold the Maverick for you, while you try to reach the owner or a higher level manager.
  17. Options for Tonneau Cover with Bed Rack?

Here if you want a less-tall rack https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/mid-profile-rack-with-elevate-ts-rail-with-truxedo-hard-roll-up-bed-cover.6121/
  18. Mid-profile Rack with Elevate TS Rail with Truxedo Hard Roll-Up Bed Cover

So I did this drilling/milling with a local machine shop (made a 3/8" slot towards the inner edge, ending at 3/8" from the edge), now there is no rubbing with the cover. I can open and close from one side of the bed without having to go to the other side to push the cover over the rubbing point.
  19. Med-profile Rack with Elevate TS Rails

The bed is ~20inch deep, so ~28inch is from the bot of the bed to the cross bar. But to me it looks very difficult to try to put a bike in there due to the limited distance between the 2 bars. I am only going this way because I want to have a cover as well. If you don't plan to use a cover...
