  1. Never driven a Maverick - thoughts on competition

Thanks everyone for the replies. I forgot to mention that my wife and I did drive a Ranger. My impression was that the powertrain was superior to the Tacoma, but the ride was worse. My understanding is that if one needs to get towed, the vehicle has to be forced into neutral manually with that dash release.

Interesting you say that, I've had mixed reviews on Nissans. I had an 87 Nissan that was great, may its changed. I have a 2006 Ford Focus thats been overall reliable.

  7. Are drop-in Ford bed liners compatible with the spray-in coating option?

I ordered a loaded Maverick that included the spray-in liner. I dislike the spray-in as I'm unable to slide things in and out easily, or get things scratched. Is the Ford liner Part No: NZ6Z9900038B compatible with the spray-in? Thank you.

Cool ideas, this is the first time I've seen a solution for the dash-top tray and I've been looking for one. Your concept wouldn't work for me thought. I'd like to see a thick plastic, flush with the dash insert for this area so I can screw in a GPS mount. The insert would just make a flat top...
