Since those are the only two available baseplates for the Maverick, and Ford specifically tells you how to tow all four down behind an RV, which you can't do without a baseplate, why would Ford void a warranty? Any thoughts to whether Ford has given any instructions on how to "properly" install...

Thanks for the response. I'll have to study that one but it appears that while we are towing it, we need to make sure we started up every 6 hours and let it run for approximately 15 minutes or so?

So, for those who have done it, when towing in neutral tow mode, running the engine every 6 hours fully recharges the 12 volt battery? I'd better get the book out to see if it indicates how long to let it run.

We're going to go with the Roadmaster but I have a question about the battery and is there anything special that has to be put on to keep the battery from draining?
