  1. I'm 2 for 2 with my Mavericks leaving me stranded.

So here’s the update. Yesterday at 10:30 am, I get a notification in the app that there is a fault in the engine and no communication from the dealership. Then at 11:30 am I get a call from Ford (not the dealership but Ford Motor Company) that they have talked to the dealership and that there...
  2. I'm 2 for 2 with my Mavericks leaving me stranded.

We’ll see what they come up with at the dealership. For me, the lemon law clock started ticking yesterday at 10:50 am
  3. I'm 2 for 2 with my Mavericks leaving me stranded.

25 Lariat, hybrid, AWD, 4k tow, sunroof, blackout package. Sticker was 42, I paid just over 39 with the employee pricing a few months back. That same build now is over $44k msrp. Similar tech/luxury package in an f150/1500/tundra would easily top $70k
  4. I'm 2 for 2 with my Mavericks leaving me stranded.

I had a '22 XLT eco boost that died on the highway and nearly killed us with a total poser loss (no lights no engine, completely dead at 70 mph), and that truck continued to have a myriad of problems that included: Total power loss on the highway Seat belt warning when buckled (experienced...
  5. Press clutch to start vehicle??? WTF?

Carbonized grey with the black appearance package. Scheduled for production the week of 6/23.
  6. Press clutch to start vehicle??? WTF?

I haven’t. I’ve continued to have problem after problem with my maverick as one of the early production models. So when it came out of the 3 year 36k warranty I ordered a 25 hybrid AWD lariat w/ 4k. (Should go into production next week) I love the maverick as a vehicle, but hate the one I have...
  7. Press clutch to start vehicle??? WTF?

I wish, I would have bought this with a manual in a heartbeat.
  8. Press clutch to start vehicle??? WTF?

I had a new one on my 22 xlt ecoboost fx4 this morning. As I was pulling out of my driveway with the truck in drive it threw an error message on the dash that read “press clutch to start vehicle”. I couldn’t get my phone out fast enough to take a picture. Anyone else ever seen this?
  9. 2.0L EcoBoost died at 70mph

So the verdict is that the body control module connector was not fully seated at the factory. They found that it was inserted but not latched. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again.
  10. 2.0L EcoBoost died at 70mph

Thanks for the suggestions so far. The dealership has it scheduled to diagnose it on 10/31. My fear is that they won't be able to nail down a cause and just tell me to let them know if it happens again. So far ford customer service has not been very helpful. I'm waiting on a call back from a...
  11. 2.0L EcoBoost died at 70mph

Hey everyone, I'm Chris and am new to the forum. After my experience last night, I looked around saw some people experiencing similar events with the hybrids but no one with the EcoBoost engine. First off I have a 2022 Maverick XLT FX4 AWD with tow package. It was ordered in 10/21 and delivered...
