I had a new one on my 22 xlt ecoboost fx4 this morning. As I was pulling out of my driveway with the truck in drive it threw an error message on the dash that read “press clutch to start vehicle”. I couldn’t get my phone out fast enough to take a picture. Anyone else ever seen this?

So the verdict is that the body control module connector was not fully seated at the factory. They found that it was inserted but not latched. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. The dealership has it scheduled to diagnose it on 10/31. My fear is that they won't be able to nail down a cause and just tell me to let them know if it happens again. So far ford customer service has not been very helpful. I'm waiting on a call back from a...
