Only issue is that I just bought a Ranger a few weeks ago and love it, lots of options on there the Mav doesn't offer. Guess I now have to decide which one to keep!
Lol my thought process was when/if my Mav ever comes in I can make a decision then whether to keep the Ranger or trade it in for the Mav. Like a lot of us on here, I don't want to go the whole summer without a truck
Seems like almost every EB that got scheduled has the tow package. I wonder if me not having it has anything to do with why I'm still not scheduled as an EB.
Yeah it was one of those memos Ford sent to dealers and told them to relay it to customers. I’m sure 99% of them didn’t. I only knew about it because of this forum. I went back and found it.
I know it sucks, but in all fairness Ford announced in December that XL's were over capacity and recommended switching trims if you want to increase your chances of being scheduled.
I know everyone here is pretty much assuming this is for the whole month of July, but I haven't seen that for sure posted anywhere. For all we know this scheduling could just be for a week or two, even though the past few rounds it has been for the whole month.
Should you start to worry if you have an EB and don’t get scheduled for July?
I have XLT Lux Package, Moon roof, and SIBL. Nothing constrained as far as I know. No idea about dealer allocations but my dealer isn’t a small one.
I switched to EB after the May scheduling in hopes to get scheduled for June, but no luck. But there are plenty of cases where people switch and you get scheduled the next time up, so there's really no telling if switching get you scheduled any quicker.
Be careful, I changed my order last week and was hit with the price increase. I even asked about the price protection I was told "oh well, prices change"
Update on this, I asked about the price protection and was just told oh well, the price changes to the current prices when you update your order. Not sure how to tell if my dealer submitted a COVP but he did take my ID and everything.
Could mean nothing, but when I was at the dealership back in September, my salesman flipped over his screen to me to show me my order, and in the process I saw he had a about 20 Mav orders in the system at the time and only 2 of them were EcoBoosts, so my birdbrain thinks if that trend continued...
I do mostly highway driving, so at the end of the day the mileage difference won't be all that big. Also I was a bit deterred with all the issues people are posting about the hybrids on here.
I did think of this when making the switch. I saw enough people on here say they switched and got scheduled soon after to think your order date/time might not matter as much as your build and what options you do or don't have.
Again like with what everyone's saying, it's all a crapshoot and I...
