2023 Lariat 2.0 Eco boost , AWD here . I'm getting just under 27 here in WI winters but once the summer fuels come back in mine will jump to near 30 that's with a commute of 25 miles each way most at interstate speeds up to 80 mph. The eco boost is one quick engine probably quicker than most...
No real reason for the higher octane usage other than the many different opinions. Some say 87 is good enough and others stating 91+. The extra cost isn’t a biggie to me coming from a 20 yr old F150. Also only drive about 10k per year.
but otherwise I have about 7,000 on it and runs and drives...
I've noticed the same thing here with my 2.0 eco FX4 and towing package. The odd thing is I noticed it shortly after delivery back in March 2023 but seemed to go away in summer. Now that it's colder here I have again noticed it. Switching to tow/haul mode in town when at these 25-40mph speeds...
Yup, can confirm just hooked up my 23 fx4 w tow package. It DOES have brake lights and turn signals but NO running “night time” clearance lights. Door stick has the build 01/2023 (delivered 2/28/23). Have to do my towing in daylight until fixed.
oh, got the same results with both the 4 pin and...
Same thing here. Exactly same symptoms. Was just wondering if octane levels change any of the lugging we are feeling? I know it’s a trans shifting point issue but could the horsepower change from higher octane minimize the lugging? I’ve been running 87 , only 510 miles so far.
I have a 23 lariat Eco almost fully loaded on order. My anxiety comes from the potential of trading away my 2014 Wrangler Sahara. Cars have always been like kids to me, always have a hard time letting go and moving on. I love my Jeep but its not the easiest for my aging dad to get into and...
There is no right answer for all… at 10000 per year the difference between 40 mpg and 30 mpg is only about 83 gallons. At $4 per gallon that’s only $333 per year. Pretty small difference in my opinion
Is it me or does anyone else wonder why the hybrid is so much more desirable? Based on a 10000 mile year my newly ordered 2.0 eco will cost me just around $325 per year in fuel usage. Plus with the 2.0 I got awd , more Hp, 4000 towing and hopefully no battery replacement issues down the road...
