Not mine, but someone refused their order at the same dealership I ordered from. It was $10K above the XLT I ordered due to options. I drove it, but was underwhelmed honestly. The ecoboost was fun compared to the hybrid I'd driven before. But I wasn't even tempted at the price. And I didn't...
To get back to where it really started, what makes you think the FX4/4K plus a small lift will do better off road than the Tremor? Every weakness of the Tremor than you've noted seems to be at least as applicable to the FX4/4K as well.
I heard today that my dealership took in 188 orders and was allocated 44. Given some numbers elsewhere in this thread I'm not terribly upset. I know for a fact that my Tremor order was the first my rep put in, but not sure about where I was amongst the dealership as a whole.
Either way, I have...
Agreed 100%. I just wonder if that will result in better results for the Tremor orders since, in a sense, not all Tremors are "spoken for" with actual order percentages being less than planned production percentages.
I could be totally off base, I just found it curious.
I was actually looking for insight as I don't have a clue. Switching gears, is there a particular reason you think the FX4/4K + lift would outperform the Tremor off road?
Is there anything that would keep someone from adding another 1 - 2" lift to the Tremors? How do you think the Tremor would do with the upgraded AWD and additional 1 - 2" lift as compared to the FX4 with 4K town?
Interesting to note from this poll that Tremor off road package orders might actually be below constraint percentages. I wonder if we'll see some "basic" Tremor orders get delivered even faster than some of the over ordered but less constrained packages, late hybrid orders for example.
