Mine was due to arrive May 17-30th. Checked this morning and it was updated to April 28-May 11th. Panicked it might have arrived and been sold out from under me. Left voicemail, emailed two people⦠checked the tracker an hour later to be sure, and it was in final prep! Sales guy called me back...
Fordās goal is to maximize profits. A second production facility would be costly, and with more competition aside from the Hyundai on the way, a second factory might not be all that profitable. More trucks sold does not always equal more profits.
I have an older RWD regular cab Ranger, and it turns on a dime when parking. I would imagine I'll have the same adjustment when I get the Maverick. It goes into production two weeks from today!
I switched from hybrid to Ecoboost, dropped the hitch and added Co-Pilot 360 as soon as they decided to allow it and was notified in February that I was scheduled for the week of April 10.
(XL, black, Copilot, full sized spare)
Ford's earnings are down because of all the recalls. Keep your fingers crossed that the Maverick doesn't have the same problems as the latest Explorer; they could be slow walking this thing (comparatively speaking) to avoid that.
That old white Ranger would be an upgrade over my old white Ranger. Intended to get a white XL Maverick, but switched to black at my wife's behest. Build date is in April. My nephew is going to take the Ranger off my hands.
