Obviously the aesthetics aspects are a personal preference thing. If it is possible, then the question would be is it practical from a cost stand point. I could be wrong, but it seems like it would be cost prohibitive.
If you don't like it, that is fine and a personal opinion. However, no matter what type of shifter one has, for safety's sake if nothing else, don't you ALWAYS look to confirm what gear you are in?
Yes, aggravation is understandable, but when emotion block out facts (as you believe them to be from your unique perspective) it is THAT type of "you work for Ford conspiracy thinking" that causes the harm. I'm sure the VAST majority of us much prefer to hear from a straight shooting Ford...
I agree with Old Ranchero's analysis. That is a 2022 build order, probably created by the OP with a dealer card attached...nothing more. Whom would think that is a legit dealer order? Nobody else here would.
A range of 250 miles being "more than enough range" is YOUR OPINION, not a FACT. Perhaps for a daily work commute, but far from people wanting, or needing to do any real travelling/hauling.
Also, the infastructure is just not there. The power for the EV's comes from fossil fuels. So, it is...
I know many people hate the in-dealer car buying process, but I agree with the OP on missing the "good old days" without the self inflicted political B.S. making pretty much everything unstable. I'm 59 , and never even knew custom ordering online or at the dealership was possible. Admittedly my...
Simple answer is no. They are an add on item that actually could have slowed your production down for something as simple as that. Be grateful you got your truck, and just go to an auto parts store and pick out some awesome mats! :)
Okay, so it is " inconvenient" to go to your dealer. It is for the rest of us as well. You have a warranty...USE IT! Otherwise, why ask us for our best advice if you fail to heed it. Quit trying to clear your codes, if there is a problem the dealer will have nothing to go by. If serious enough...
In the past two years I have ordered two (2) F-150's. Joined the F-150 forums, and have seen all the hand wringing and speculation that ensued. It's something akin to reading all of the possible side effects of a medication...it can scare the hell out of you! While some folks on here have good...
The points "BlueSnake77 makes are well thought out scientific FACTS. Not media and Government hype. EV's are not "free energy" that saves the environment. The above post is spot on. I would LOVE for EV's to be what the current administration and media is pushing out...but they are not.
Exactly! When the technology for both the above actually exists, and if we ever find a way to produce electricity without fossil fuel's...sure. Otherwise, the damaged alone caused to the environment by just obtaining the material needed to make the batteries should make all of us think a bit...
Hi Craig, I see your point of view, but here is where the "waters were muddied." Buy sending the dealer an e-mail stating... "give me a delivery date or cancel my order." As the dealer cannot possibly give any of us an exact delivery date without one actually being assigned by Ford, I would...
