I think this is a big scam post. Look up this recall number on Ford’s site returns an Field Service Action (FSA), which is an available upgrade to a specific component or extension warranty. No other hits when searching such a drastic recall action. I think someone is pulling our chains.

I’m going if my Maverick arrives in July. I booked a room for the meetup. Scheduled for build week June 12th. Hope Ford comes through.

I just checked the price difference on the Build & Price site for Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid vs Ecoboost. The EB Lariat is $2,200 more because of the AWD requirement. No requirement for XL and XLT trims that stay front wheel drive as EB.

I’d switch to EB if given the option. But because I ordered the Lariat Hybrid, at that trim the EB is only available in AWD, which is an up charge. Not interested with the extra cost.

Very nice to know for someone that didn’t realize there modern truck didn’t come standard with cruise control. A fix for the oversight when the truck was ordered. Who would have known that a vehicle built in 2022 wouldn’t have such a basic vehicle amenity.
