I could be wrong on this but i believe the active shutters in the grill only close at a certain speed to help to direct airflow for gas mileage. Not to help warm up. At least that was the case with my hybrid Tahoe.

What I’m reading in to this is the classic bait and switch. Ford is advertised a 20 grand truck with 40 mpg but the dealers are only gonna have the more expensive non hybrid models on their lot.
