like a lot of people here, fuel economy.
I'd love the utility of a small bed for various things I'd love to do once I owned a house.
Although I'm feeling bearish about being able to buy a Maverick with Ford basically saying they probably won't be building most of the hybrid orders since they...
that's a good mantra to live by unfortunately for me, it's often too much of a pre-occupation with me currently. Unfortunately.
Probably because I could really use a new vehicle and I have the possibility of the Maverick being built being a carrot and stick to do less about a new vehicle, but...
I'm 22 and while there are some flashy quicker cars I like, the utility and lower operational cost than a larger truck is highly appealing but honestly if my Mav can't be built since it's a hybrid ordered on 09/19, I might just see if I go for like a Frontier SV Midnight Edition/Pro-X or a...
someone might've pointed this out already but I guess the Scamp trailer brand makes a lightweight fifth wheel that should clock in just under 4,000lbs lmao
Scamp Lite Fifth Wheel RV Travel Trailers - 5th Wheel Campers - Deluxe Layout A - Scamp Trailers
the link for anyone interested in this...
Im in the belief that everyone that ordered should get their maverick eventually but Ford needs to be more transparent and probably be more realistic about how many they can build, unfortunately to no surprise Ford can't launch a highly desired car very well. I suppose the supply chain issues...
I certainly understand that argument lol
another car I think I have on the shortlist is the UX250(h) or the Mazda3 Sedan Turbo since I can get discounts on both, doubt they're good discounts but a discount is a discount.
Sorry to that other person I quoted oops lol
yeah I think I lean towards the CVT Integra ASpec w/Tech especially because of the ELS system I've heard it's a good system and I can't justify the Civic above the EX-L trim lol
Yeah I think living with a 4L60E I probably could put up with a CVT. I wouldn't be against a Sport or Sport Touring Model (or getting the same package I already want on the integra but with the manual) and learning to drive manual lol
So anyone ordered on 09/19 (at least hybrid) and feel like you might not be able to be built?
I'm starting to feel this way lol I'm going to hold out hope that maybe just maybe at the end of 2023, they might just barely be able to build my truck.
But for now it's feeling likely I'm just going...
it's kind of funny since last night I was more seriously considering an Acura Integra A-Spec w/ Tech as an alternative if I can't be built this year.
The Liquid Carbon and Red Interior is such a great combo (white and red is nice too, and so is blue and orchid)
Heh yeah I get that lmao
For me, as cool as it would be to use a Maverick for more truck like things I think for like towing, a half ton should be far more than enough for most of what I want to do (which would be just towing a single car (3,500 or so lbs for just the car) and probably chickens...
So very glad you guys are okay, that's an awful scene though but I'm sure there's plenty of body parts and other components that can go towards saving one that had something lesser done to it.
I am hoping as long as Ford closed the order banks with enough wiggle room to ensure that every order at every dealer can be built within their plans for MY23 Production I think so too, though I think just in case I have some alternate vehicle plans if it doesn't work out for mine to get built...
I went with XLT, but there were a few things I really wanted in the Lariat feature set but for what this truck is and what it's meant to be I couldn't really justify spending over $31,000 for it and the Lariat with the stuff I wanted would've ran about $35,000-$36,000.
