  1. Ope, Minnesota Thread? Best Thread.

hood to hear that coming from real wod experience. We are in a dilemma now because we want to buy a pontoon next summer. However there is a very good chance that we’d have a slip available so maybe we wouldn’t need to tow it. Thanks for the info! I’ll be looking forward to see what additional...
  2. Ope, Minnesota Thread? Best Thread.

With Ford axing the X-Plan i am on the fence of ordering a Mav now or maybe a 2023 Ranger. I have to order before the end of the year. Then i'd hold the vehicle until a PHEV comes out. I just don't know what to do. i'm torn
  3. Ope, Minnesota Thread? Best Thread.

Ford moved the Maverick to a "first come first serve" (pending any constraint parts) didn't they? i thought i read that somewhere. Versus doing allocation to big dealers. So I guess whomever gives the best deal could wind up with a heap load of trucks. your order was seamless there?
  4. advice for a new camping family of 4

Speaking from experience... I would put the cooler in the bed of the truck instead of the add on shelf. Those things with ice and food can get very heavy and if your drive becomes rough it says they're rated for "250 lbs" or whatever, but that doesn't include 200 lbs of crap plus the sheer...
  5. Maverick could get "THUNDER" Trim Level in Canada

Ford trademarks 'Thunder' name for F-150, Ranger and Maverick (autoblog.com) Thunder... is that like "thunder" comes before the lightning? so maybe a PHEV? hopefully not just an appearance package lol
  6. Iowa Tipton Iowa has Maverick on the lot

It appears from the website it’s listed at MSRP per their website.
  7. Anyone else going to have to make hard decisions soon?

unless you want a RAV4 Prime… 4 dealers in my area. 2 said they would do a custom order at MSRP but current wait times are 2 years!!! Even for custom orders due to how Primes are allocated. another dealership said 18 months and they’d do $5000 above msrp. The last larger dealer out of state...
  8. AWD Hybrid Maverick Prototype Possibly Spied Testing

It depends on your driving habits too. As an example, i drive bout 950 miles a month. But 2/3 of the time I’m driving under 20 miles round trip. So when i put in my killowatt/hour cost of electric it was substantially cheaper for me to have a PHEV versus a gasser. i think the gas/elec costs...
  9. 📸 Spotted: Mystery New Maverick Model With High Clearance Off-Road Bumper and Tires

I would love an awd PHEV for a couple reasons. I drive on average 950 miles a month. In that month i take 4 trips that equal 350 miles round trip. The other 600 miles are trips less than 20 miles round trip. if I had a PHEV that gave me decent performance (like RAV4 Prime) in pure EV mode, i...
  10. 📸 Spotted: Mystery New Maverick Model With High Clearance Off-Road Bumper and Tires

if it is a PHEV you wouldn’t be far off MSRp wise. Have you seen reports about the Mach-E? Production costs have gone up iver $25k per car, mainly due to lithium raw material costs. So if there is still a full $7,500 tax incentive this is probably a good ball park. I currently drive an F150 and...
