I agree. I have a Honda CRV currently, which shifts front and back and is very unsteady. The center arm rest is a really important part of the car for comfort.
That's a pretty nice truck.
I was looking at a higher end Maverick for quite a while but there are many good midsize trucks becoming available this year.
This includes the New GMC Canyon, New Ford Ranger, New Toyota Tacoma and even the somewhat New Chevy Colorado.
I believe there will be...
I would like to see a little more premium features on the Lariat w Luxury package at the top end. Things like Sync 4 or wireless car play, or even better audio or larger infotainment screens.
Out of those pictures, the only one that makes me wince... is the Sand. I am curious as to how well it did there? Some places with deeper sand would concern me.
It is awesome that it holds up and is rugged enough to perform this well. It also makes me feel better about the ability of an...
I just wanted to comment I appreciate the ingenuity in this thread. The Maverick might start out as a "cheap" truck but really all of the additions make into something special.
I would consider a Honda Ridgeline if orders seem to be going south with the Maverick. Maybe a little bit bigger than you were going for but also a unibody.

I agree with you there. You have to go with the Badlands trim to get the more powerful 4 cylinder engine. I do however see a lot of Bronco Sports in the wild in my area.
Or Ford can just be openly transparent about it. Like we have 500,000 orders and we have delivered X many and tell us this progress every month. This way, even though you are waiting, you can feel progress is being made.
I would say yes I would consider it, however I live in a development of townhouses, and until I could figure out how to "conveniently" charge my car this would be a problem. No I don't want to hang a cable out my window and my parking space isn't located at my house. Because of this, I am...
I believe the Maverick will eventually have this lineup where the current hybrid and eco boost option becomes less important -
Maverick Hybrid - Maverick EcoBoost - Maverick Thunder (PHEV) - Maverick Lightning (EV)
We may see a 2024 Maverick Thunder by end of this year.
And like the person...
Boom! Rumble... Rumble... It seems Ford has trademarked MAVERICK THUNDER in the US. What do you think this package will include?
