    Ford Chat also confirmed my order with my name. But they can't see order detail. Initially I ordered XLT and later changed to Lariat. Ford Chat can't confirm my trim.

    Thank you for uploading this picture. It explains everything. Probably it should not be soldered. The heat may melt the soldering material. It should be clamped. But I am not an expert in electric/mechanic. Just my gut feeling.

    I totally agree. I plan to have it when order my truck. I installed hitch receiver on my old Acura MDX. It cost much more (because it's much bigger and heavy duty) without the connector. Currently I only use it for bike rack.
