I have looked into this as well, I don't believe the fiesta st was available with a heated wheel but I had found some focus and kuga ST wheels on ebay from europe that were heated that would work with an escape that I was going swap but never did, therefore those would fit a mav as well. I have...
You can change it under the SCCM module, it is in Celsius. I think it is at 35 degrees on mine, as far as keeping it warm, I will have to check. I usually turn mine off after 5 minutes or so.
I have purchased a 2020 explorer police interceptor and the ACM is exactly like this on in the MAV, there is no APIM in the police model and it has a small 4" screen. What my plan is, I will swap a mav ACM into the explorer and find a 8" screen from a regular explorer and that should...
So I tried installing the dual climate control, It doesn't work, I actually had checked the for parts site after I bought the part and saw there is a separate heater box (plenum, I think it was called) for the dual zone that contains a separate actuator
So of course the dual zone does not...
I think dual may be plug and play I will have to look on fords parts website again and see if they sell any dual zone specific climate parts. I remember looking up the dash wiring and shows the harness for my car labeled as "with dual zone climate" even though I have single. I have considered...
Here are some pics of an ecosport HVAC module I took apart. It looks like if you just wanted to add the little display in the dial you may be able to use one from an ecosport if you don't decide to do the whole heated wheel swap I would be curious if the provision for the ribbon cable is there...
I would love to see a successful swap on a mav or bs. Just keep an eye out on Car-Part.com or ebay and some cheap stuff pops up. I made a deal with a local salvage yard to get 4 steering wheels and SCCMs and picked it up locally so saved on shipping.
Find a APIM module from a 2020+ ecosport, escape, bronco sport, explorer that came from a car with nav and buy it and program to your car using forscan. It is a separate mod from the steering wheel swap. Ebay is a good source.
If you have the plug as pictured in my thread going to the back of your SCCM and the fuse in the spot 33 or 35 then most likely you can buy the wheel SCCM/clock spring and be good to go along with your climate upgrade. I am selling the kits now for $600 if you are interested. I have done 2...
I happened to come across this listing for a mav going up for auction just a couple hours away from me maybe from an estate sale or something, if it was an XL I would be all over it but this but I am sure it is going to go for a lot...
I am seeing where I need to be at once my Maverick arrives. I need to see what changes I need to make I might as well do it to the escape and then take what I learn from that and help others with the maverick swap. I have spent hours on motorcrafts website comparing wiring diagrams and such when...
Ok I am going to take a shot at adding a paddle shift wheel to my escape. I purchased the wheel today and should be here next week. I have a 1.5 3cyl w/8 speed. I already have a PRNDM shifter sitting in my garage. Lets see what happens. I also have a BCM from a Titanium that I can swap in if...
Has anyone tried to go into PCM ID Block configuration and changed it to select shift transmission using forscan to activate this? I will look on my escape next time I am using forscan. On my 2013 F150 this was the only way to make it work by swapping the cluster, column shifter w/shift buttons...
Heres a pic from an ecosport module which is the same as escape. I forgot to get detailed pics when I had my dash apart last time but the black and green wire from the connector on SCCM go to the hvac module, the large pins you were asking about. It would not be too hard to make a harness, I did...
Check out my heated wheel install on my 2020 escape. I may be able to provide some help.

Hey guys I did a heated wheel swap on my 2020 ford escape, all the parts interchange with the maverick so I figured this would be useful here on the forum, there are some checks you can do to see if the wiring needed is there. My 2020 swap was totally plug and play other than some forscan...
I made a video on how to install the Perimeter Plus System on the 2020+ Escape it eould be the same for the bronco sport and maverick, here is the link:
Anyone who is on the fence about install can be relieved that the install takes roughly 5 to 15 minutes, you DO NOT need Forscan or IDS to...
