    Is the primary reason so many people install the tailgate assist strut upside down because the Ford website showed it installed incorrectly ? I do like the D ring anchor hooks, though.

    Cheap strut option It will take a bit of manipulation to get it to fit but it is cheap. ;)

    On Thursday (06-23-2022) I learned from Ford I have a VIN, the build week is scheduled for August 15 (will likely move) and the estimated delivery to the dealer is September 23 (pure fantasy). The dealer confirmed this the next day (as does Ford tracking). The order was confirmed October 18, 2021.

    Just a minor quibble. Maverick refers to unbranded bovine, not equine. Hence the steer horns in the original Maverick logo.

    I have the same order right down to the same color. Order was confirmed on 10/18/21 and the only news I have is that it sits as a priority 2 (which is better than a 19 I suppose). Congrats on nearing the finish line.
